founded on January 25, 1890, by a group of young men, half of whom were from
Seville and half from the United Kingdom. First President: The club's
first president was Edward Farquharson Johnston, a Scottish-born vice-consul in

official football match in Spain against Recreativo de Huelva, with a score of
